I bumped into a compelling street photographer’s work recently and wanted to share it on UHH. Lee Jeffries is an English photographer in Manchester, UK. I keep revisiting his images and can’t get them out of my mind. With his permission, I am posting a screen shot here. His Instagram page is:

OMG how does a photographer even start taking street pictures The risks both physical and financial must be substantial.
This man is amazing.

The subject is homeless. My understanding is that Lee befriends, advocates for, and supports the homeless population, so many of his street subjects are working with him as true friends. What's really amazing is that a lot of his shots are with a 24mm lens. I don't know how he avoids distortion of his subjects' features. And obviously, he's a master at PP.
Very interesting photograph. Our own Dave Chinn does similar outstanding work.

I looked at his photos on instagram and he has quite a different take on portraits.
The photo you submitted looks like Aqualung to me.
A good subject plus HDR and super grunge techniques in Photoshop. Not as easy to pull of as well as this as it sounds.
