Except no money was actually cut from from either of them. You're a victim of false information.

Donald Trump is robbing the working and middle class to give huge tax breaks to the wealthiest among us.

In order to fund his corporate tax breaks and giveaways to the ultra-rich, he’s targeting Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and more. His budget is a classic right-wing plan that would gut our most critical social programs.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is voting ‘no.’

We’re doing everything in our power to block Trump’s new budget. Can you sign your name to join AOC in opposing it?

Trump’s sabotage of the working and middle classes is brazen. Here’s what his proposed budget would do:

Cut $850 billion from Medicare

Take $270 billion out of Medicaid

Reduce Social Security spending by $30 billion

Slash funding for student loan relief programs, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Education, eliminates some HUD affordable housing programs, and more

Meanwhile, defense spending stays the same. ICE’s budget is going up by almost 25%. He’s giving his quixotic border wall another $2 billion. And Amazon will still pay $0 in federal taxes.

Helping the wealthy and powerful afford another private jet while cutting life-saving social programs isn’t just unjust — it’s morally repugnant. Sign your name to join AOC in opposition to this budget:

How funny. I not only do not feel robbed but in fact I have more money than before Trump was elected. My 401k is up, the value of my home is up too. Life is good except for the constant whining and bitching from Democrats about Trump’s winning policies. Losers continuing to lose.

sb simply displayed the left's propensity to accept anything rachel and the dnc told him to think without question. Typical left wing approach to putting the president down.

So diverting money from the approved defense budget didn't really happen?

Correct. The money was Given because they were not going to use it. Period.

That does not lessen the fact that funds can be diverted, nor did I claim anything illegal.

If it is legal, what do you have an issue with?

Medicare is a fixed sum game that cannot afford to be cut. There is a given pile of money to pay out. Every year more people are added to the roles (until all the baby boomers die off) so the amount available for each person enrolled is smaller. This was a ponzi scheme from the beginning and only now the hen is about to leave the roost. At the least, Medicare needs to be funded at a level amount. Same for Social Security.

Don't ask me what I think about ACO and her Anti-American Politics.

He is brilliant.
Removing scum from the rolls is helping those who earned the benefits.
Currently any POS including those who have done nothing including kids of lazy scum get more benefits than those who worked for them.
These cuts are to remove these slime from the rolls.
Of course democrats are way too stupid to understand this concept.

I don't know if there are any stats to show this, but it occurs to me that most of the folks affected by these cuts and adjustments are those complaining about it the most. Libs are so accustomed to hand out policies they can't fathom any changes.
