I recently returned from Death Valley. My wife couldn’t figure out why I wanted to go...not enough color. I enjoyed two days of exploring the unique features of the park.
Here is some of what I saw.
Deanfl,

Really nice images. DV is beautiful.
The shot with the photographers for scale and as mizzee says, "design element," is wonderful! Also a treat to view closely and see the bits of ghosts caused by your slow shutter speed. That would be fascinating as a very large print on the wall.
Very nice set. I really enjoyed my visit there as well.
Was there two years ago, going again on the 15th. Your shots remind me why I'm going back!!
Beautiful photos of Death Valley. I especially liked the last photo. The highest recorded air temperature, in a certain area of Death Valley, was 134 degrees in 1913. Today. It still ranks among the highest temperatures on planet earth. The highest ever was recorded in the Libyan Desert. At 136 degrees.

Beautiful stuff, may I call you Dean; I am going to say #3 is my favorite.
Certainly looks like enough color - very nice series.
