Very impressive. However, Bob, I do see some "outline shadow" especially in the first photo. Is that just my monitor?

Thanks. Yup, that was part of the tweaks mentioned in the post. I'm not sure of the cause. So, it's a bit more lab time needed to determine the cause and/or solution.

After numerous lab tests, it was time to head outside. There are some additional tweaks needed, but these are close to what I was looking for.

Seems to be a strange "shadowing" around the tree trunks in the 1st shot. Beautiful colour though.

Hi, John. Thanks for taking a look. I commented on some additional tweaks in my original post. I'm going to have to investigate that a bit.

I seem to have taken that 'unique hardware' road, starting at the end of summer last year. In addition to this combination, I've mounted any of my digital cameras to the back of my 4x5 for another unique combination.

Digital 4x5 is really unique. Take a look at the Guess watch ads. They are shot on a Sinar view camera with a Sinar digital back. Have fun with your "new" camera. The images look great.

I have some plans for mounting this back on a 4x5.
