I have one like this at my suet feeder every day. This is the female no red streak below the eye.

WONDERFUL!! I would give anything to have them around my house. I've seen 1 in the 26 yrs of living in KY, I know they are around, just not in my neck of the woods

Good Picture! You hardly ever see these Birds in my neck of the woods in WV.
When I loose the chickens each morning I throw out a cup of rolled corn for the wild birds. If you do that every day the birds get used to it and start coming around. Haven't seen our resident woodpeckers this year but he and his mate are probably around here somewhere.
