No I'm not going but wish I was!! I have noticed on UHH several people returning from an African safari and others going in the near future. I wanted to drop a name of a wonderful photographer that has published pictures of Africa for years and now leads trips there. She actually lives in Spain near one of the world's largest open animal parks. She also has a FB presence.
Her name is Marina Cana. She has published at least one book if not more. Some may be familiar with her work, others probably have not heard of her.
If you are going to Africa it would be worthwhile to look her up and see her images if for no other reason than to get ideas how you might set up your own compositions. Or you might even want to contact her and set up something. She takes small groups and is available to help get those once in a lifetime pictures.
Now if I sound like Marina's publicist I'm not, even though I highly respect her photographic abilities. But if I was going to Africa and wanted to get images that were different than the norm she is the one I would research.

Thanks for putting the link up. Obviously she uses Canon products and has become one of Canon's ambassadors. On FB she was very excited to be chosen.
I have followed her since her days on Photo Net long before she became a wildlife photographer and her work has always stood out.
