Just wondering what would be the high and low prices for a Nikon Nikkor 50.mm 1.8 with the auto and manuel settings? Will I'll have any problems using it on a D5600?

If you are looking for a G series lens about $150. If you are looking for a D series about $100 in EX+ condition. Check

You could check on E-Bay. But I've found that KEH.com is a much more realistic source for used gear pricing.

I own the Nikon 50mm f1.8G lens. I bought it Brand New in the box, for about $246. There was a reduction in price during the Xmas holiday last year. $216. I bought it for portraits and for shooting photos of kids outdoor soccer games from the sidelines, during the summertime. I own a Nikon DX DSLR. I get a FOV of 75mm. The 50mm f1.8G, is also a popular prime lens, for owners of the D500. Also, the Nikon 50mm f1.8G is a FX lens.

We need more specific info on the lens to ascertain whether or not it will work on your camera. Nikon made a large assortment of the 50mm F1.8
The Nikon D series lenses with the adjustable f stop ring will NOT autofocus on your camera, nor on any of the 3000 and 5000 series cameras. Stick with the G series lenses on that body.
Kybill1252, we paid about $50 for our 50mm 1.8, pre-owned from Adorama. It depends on the grade, how well the prior owner treated it. Ours was in good condition, very clean, no scratches, no dust, fungus or scratches, or haze on lens. It was a great deal and we used it more than we used the stock 35mm Nikon lens. Have always had a liking for the 50mm:)
Also, when we find a lens listed that interests us, we always immediately place call to Adorama at their store, to our favorite salesperson to see if they have actual photos of the glass prior to ordering. Sometimes the salesperson has knowledge not listed, and can get you a better price or a better lens. Good luck and happy shooting.

Is this for the G lens?
The OP’s camera body has no focus motor.
The D lens won’t autofocus.
Love Adorama
They have a refurbished G model for $140

I don't believe the D will auto focus on a Nikon D5xxx.
But the G will.....
The 50mm AF-S 1.8G, which is the one you want, is $200 new. Adorma has refurb for $140. Used at KEH is actually more.
