Thanks Swamp-Cork for the kind words. Sometimes you get lucky as this time for me. There were quite few more of these in the area but only these two would co-operate. Got quite close to them by staying motionless and the fact that they were more interested and locked onto the group of fishermen cleaning their catch at the fishing station. They were tossing the skin and guts to the crowd just below the station. Wish all the birds I have chased over the years would be this co-opertative. (fat chance)

Thanks Blair for the kind comment. Like I said before it is not usual to catch these birds together as one (the brown) is usually seen in a salt water area while the white is more an fresh water one. In all my years of birding I could probably count on my fingers the number of times I've seen them so close together. But the offer of a free meal is hard to ignore as these birds have proven in this instance.
