Excellent set Cat. I was born in Sioux Falls - My dad was stationed at the Army Air Corps base there in 1944. I only spent the first 4 months of my life there but your photos give me reason for a return visit.

I checked store original on every pic but it's not working properly. I love SD. Sunflower fields for as far as the eye can see.
The clouds and the mountains change through each state. I love it! I have a thing for train tracks and I have shots of train tracks from every state I have been to...actually there's nothing I won't shoot everything is a moment I want to capture.
Hey Cat, nice series! I've been thinking of you. How are you feeling?
Michael
Cat, you are an excellent photographer and a better person. I too collect rocks when I travel. One thing to do is to get a magic marker and write on the rock the location it was collected from, When you hold a smooth river stone from the Snake River, it will transport you back there. Thanks for the great images.
South Dakota is a special place and you captured it great.
I love the pics you took. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pictures, Cat.Well done.
Perhaps some of the pics were too large of a file for the "download" option.

#5 appears to be John Lopez work. Where is it at?
SD. I'll have to find the sign. I take pics of signs so I can remember more. Going out of our Campground. I just looked him up and I have pics of his cowboy on a fish sculpture. If I am not mistaken it was close to that statue. I have seen his work and it's beautiful!
