Here's some of our "Day-cation", St. Augustine is about a 2 hour drive through some neat twisty roads (if you avoid 95). The lighthouse and Keepers home are haunted as all get out. We almost ALWAYS have shrimp at a little place called Osteen's that's been there 45 years or so. The best shrimp dinner I've had on the east coast, and I've been up and down it!
Rachel- if you've never been- the main street really has an N.O. feel to it- lot's of wrought iron and Spanish feel...

I drove through St. Aug once, but I did not get to see the downtown. Shame, it looks so pretty and I've always heard that it's a great place to visit.
