Dogwood Canyon...owned by Basspro has some nice tram-type tours...otherwise you probably won't see much other wildlife..we went this last summer..enjoyable
Can't help you with info on your trip, but Welcome to UHH.
Theres a lot of options, look online for places like turpentine creek big cat sancutary, busiek nature and wildlife area, Ruth and Paul Henning conservation area. Theres also a drive through wildlife park, dont recall its name. There is also in the area a wildlife preservation park, dont recall its name either, but when we went there, there were a lot of waterfowl and Bald Eagles, deer and some Elk.
The pic attatched is one taken there several years ago.

I believe they have an E book that you can download and take with you. If all else fails put the dial on the green 'Auto" and fire away.
Good shooting.

For wildlife in the Branson area: Dogwood Canyon 25 miles south of Branson which is operated by Bass Pro. Take their Wildlife Tram, make reservations before you drive down there.
If you are a wildlife fan try the huge Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium in Springfield, MO about 30 miles north of Branson....it will take about 3 hours to see it all....the aquarium was voted best aquarium in US a couple of years ago....it also is a Bass Pro facility. Have fun in Branson (utilize the back road shortcuts to avoid traffic, there are back road maps at all hotels, etc). We love Silver Dollar City, lots of fun.....arrive early to avoid the traffic. Marvel Cave in Silver Dollar City is also interesting.

Make sure to get out of tourist-town for at least some of your time. Lots of great country nearby. Look at state parks (I was super at Roaring River some decades ago, great countryside though a bit of a drive through the Ozarks). Northern Arkansas has options, too. Not sure if Eureka Springs is within an easy drive, but an intersting town (touristy in its own unique way from Branson).
Try to get some extra practice in with the camera, especially to get useful action. Mess around with panning (even a car driving by) and try out "action" settings on the camera to see how shutter speed is handled.
Most of the interesting wildlife in Branson is on the city streets before or after showtime.

You've already got a lot of pointers. I'll add another..... You gotta eat. The Brandon Belle dinner cruise is good. I got some good shots, a good dinner and show.
