Good Morning
Attempted to get the George Washington Bridge from Fort Lee park.
When I arrived at 5:00 the gates were closed. The back-up plan was a 40 minute drive to the Verrazano bridge. It was a little late by the time I got there but a great experience, less the cold, which was in the teens.
Definitely on my return list.

Interesting side point...well to me, anyway. The correct spelling is “Verrazzano”. The name was mis-spelled when the bridge was built in 1960 and remained that way until the error was discovered in 2018. Now you know!
