That's Jersey for you...always the drama queen.

Now aren't you calling the kettle black. :hunf:

I am guessing you get that remark a lot considering how pot shaped you seem to be :}

It appears from your remarks that you are not only lacking in what's going on in our country, but class as well.

Listen you idiots that post this kind of crap don't deserve any respect. If you had one sliver of knowledge of the actual workings of the government you would not even bother reading this dribble. It is published strictly for the least informed and since someone here has seen fit to post a link to it that person is either a mentally deficient moron or a right-wing, neo-con, paid poster.

If you had any idea of the process necessary to change even one word in the Constitution then you would be laughing at the morons spreading this idle gossip. I mean really. are you a bunch of women under the dryers down at the beauty salon? I ask that ladies because that is exactly what you are acting like.

Now go...do a little research on the process of amending the US Constitution and give a 500 word summary of the process and the pros and cons of the process. I can do that I had that in college where I studied political science in fact I might even have typed double-spaced around here somewhere and that was 30 years ago.

That would be all well and good if they really wanted to change the constitution. But it would seem that they want to destroy it. I don't think that political science is their preferred tool.

Okay, how do they plan on destroying the Constitution...I really want to know...and did look up how to change the Constitution? Do you know what the term Political Science means? (This is a valid question because of your response.)

In their wisdom as they established the first purely secular constitutional republic in the history of the world the Founding Fathers made two decisions. The first is they understood that times change and the Constitution should be open to amendments.

So they made the process of doing so as part of the document, but they made it a very difficult process so it would not be done to make trivial changes in the law of the land.

The religious who would change the Constitution to outlaw a medical procedure or use it to define who can be married are no different that the imam who wants to institute Sharia.

NGC, I will not abandon the Republican party since my only alternative is to align with the Democrats which is anathema to me but on the religion and abortion issues I am solidly against the Republican positions and agree with you. Religion has no place in government. Constitutionally we are a Democracy and not a theocracy as some would have it.

You want to live in this country? Fine but don't try to change it to the laws where you came from. You live here you accept our cultural, our laws; else go back to where you came from.

What holds a society together is a common cultural, a common language, a common monetary system. No wonder our country is fracturing.

Sharia belongs inside of your four walls, not out in our society.

gee whiz ladies...don't get your petticoats in a twist.

Brilliant! You think women should willingly be beaten and wear a burka. Perhaps you should join the wahabis.

IF Americans were to check this out, they would find that if our country went the Sahria law, our women would be unsafe. they believe that women are lower than cattle. I often wonder why if women are lower than cattle why they don't use cattle to have their sons..... only wondering.. we just need to pray very very hard, start going back to church and ask God for all the forgiveness he is willing to give us Americans...Put prayer back into school and in our workplace. IF we don't we'll have to pray to their alla....

Yes, but the qualifying word is *IF*. The United States is not going to Sharia law.

Prayer is useless.

Exactly...that is why the original post was pointless and the fears that those spreading this kind of fecal matter are simply attempting to gin up the uninformed constitutes who literally know no better.

Outstanding! I'll let you know what I need and then you can pray and let's see how well your prayer performs.

Should I just specify a single need or would giving a selection of needs be more useful?

Oh heck.. I'll go for a single wish.. errr... need. Every time I walk into the local used camera emporium, I ask Mike, the owner, if he has come across a 600mm f/4 Nikkor that's "free to good home." After years... no joy. Now the store's closed on Mondays, but I expect to walk out with the freebie lens on Tuesday as your intercessory prayer works a miracle.

Eat your heart out, Rixpix! I'll be shootin' birds at the Everglade's Eco ponds with 600mm of awesome prayer power!

That's not a need, but a material possession and God is not Santa Claus.

Have you any real needs?

There have already been court cases in the US where sharia law has taken precedent over our Constitution.

An absolute lie. Show me a single case where that is true. Never happened, never will. Stop repeating wing nut bulls** t and start thinking for yourself. Check things out before you make these stupid claims.
