It was still hitting low 90s in the mid afternoon.
I think people are adapted to their home environment. One summer my wife and I took a couple in-laws from Seoul to visit Laredo, and had to rush them back for fear they'd collapse from the heat. I know if I had to live in Canada, or, heaven forbid, northern Alaska, I'd be wearing so many layers of clothes I'd be incapable of motion. But Thailand now....
