I currently own a Nikon 18-200mm lens that I need to replace. Does anyone have experience with the Tamron 18-200? It’s a very inexpensive lens. Would love to get feed back. Thank you!

I shoot a trio of older Canon Rebel cameras that do not have VR and the addition of the $250 Tamron 18-200 has been very satisfactory for me.

Thank you for your reply. The Tamron is now $199.00!

I shoot very often with my Nikon 18-200 VRII lens. It delivers excellent results. What's not to like????
I prefer to give you good advise. If you have been satisfied with the quality of your Nikon 18-200 VR why not another one? You can buy the lens used from a reputable dealer at a most reasonable price.
MPB comes to mind.
I replaced my Nikon 18-200 VR with the VR2 version when the first got "gritty". I am very pleased with it. Don't know anything about the Tamron, but they make good lenses.

I have used one for about four years. Been very happy with the results. VC is great. Nice walk around lens but not the best in low light 3.5-6.3 variable aperture. Well worth the $200 current price. I use it on my D50.

I have a Tamron 18-200mm for my Pentax bodies. Pretty good but it does produce a slight amount of blue-yellow fringing in bright lighting under certain conditions. Something I don't see with my actual Pentax lenses.
I just bought the Tamron 18-200 to replace my 18-55. I like it. It's a great all around lens. I would prefer the Nikorr 18-300 but it does just fine for 199
Vista, we own one and it's been great, fast-focusing and very sharp. We own many older/newer Tamrons, and many older/newer Nikons. Bought the 18-200mm new from Amazon a couple of years ago when it was on sale, no regrets. Happy shooting.
I had never heard of MPB. Thank you for the information. I looked them up and was impressed by their reviews.
