Any other president would have done the same, Vindman felt that he should have a bigger say in US foreign policy than should the president of the United States, it is very probable that he was the source of several leaks coming out of the White House and you and other demonics seem to forget that he serves at the pleasure of the president of the United States, not the other way around.

We all should re-read the UCMJ. I cannot remember the Article that says “If you disagree with a superior officer, you should make up lies and stab him/her in the back.”
