Thank you for voting for my edit in the last MIYV Challenge. This week I am having you work on an image I shot last week. The Water Gardens aren't as photogenic this time of the year. Normally people will sit and relax on the different levels in this park while listing to the splashing water. The building in the background is the Omni Condominiums. You can rent some of the luxury suits although most are purchased.
Feel free to download this photo to your computer and edit it any way you want to. Black and white conversions, inverted images, textures, composites, day to night, different cropping, you name it. If it looks good...post it. Edits will be accepted until 9 PM on Thursday. No edits will be accepted after Thursday 9Pm. At that time we will start the voting. Thank you.

The Water Gardens aren't photogenic this time of year, you say? Nothing like a little saturation and inverse color to liven things up!
I couldn't seem to get the raw to open. I guess because of the older photoshop I use. Evened up the exposure and got caught up in the dappled lighting.
Love that place. I don't get up to FW near often enough. Thanks for posting.
My attempt at normalising.
.
Ok seemed like a nice quiet place for an artist and his dog to spend some time stretching.
Applied local contrast, structure and some lens filters using Affinity Photo.

In the summer this would be just one of the many visitors you would see enjoying the park.👍

You got me thinking: In some parts of the southwest (maybe not Ft. Worth) it can rain 100 miles away and cause flash flooding even though the skies are bright and there is no sign of rain. Sooooo....what if....?
