First attempts at water drop photography

So, being retired and some time on my hands during the sloppy weather in the Puget Sound region, I thought I'd make an attempt at water drops. Now, no matter how many YouTube videos I watched, it never goes as smoothly as what you see. It's not hard, but timing is everything, patients is a must, and a bucket load of luck. Granted, I could spend a wad of cash and get an automated dropper that triggers the shutter & flash and regulates the size and frequency of the drops, but this works for now. Plus, there are almost no limits to how to light the scene and what liquid that can be used. Anyway, enough of that. First attempts are ok, but much to learn. Oh, make sure the water vessel is spotlessly clean as dust and lint will float to the top as seen in the first colorful photo.
