Have you checked your image size in PS? Sometimes I forget to reset those numbers after resizing. That is when it won't print correctly.

Qimage is without a doubt the best printer application. Output exceeds the quality from Photoshop, Lightroom, or anything else I have tried.

Me too, easier printing from LR

I may be the odd duck out, but I have problems printing from LR! Especially if I want a borderless print. PS is my go to application for printing.

Ditto on Gene's recommendation for Qimage - look no further if you're interested in printing and don't want to buy a RIP.

There is not a MAC version of Qimage.

I have periodic problem with Photo Shop ignoring commands for paper size. My wife and I both very carefully instructed it to print 11x14, after sizing the image to those dimensionsin PS/Image/Image Size. All looked good until we started printing and it printed 8.5x11. Not once, but three times, after we went step by step through the process. Drives one crazy! It has happened before, but not always. Tonight it seems to be stuck on that size. Any ideas on how to avoid this? I am close to employing sledge hammer maintenance!

I'm assuming you are using a Canon or Epson printer. Do not print from Photoshop, Lightroom or any editing application. Canon and Epson provide software specifically for their printers that are very good.

And you can print directly from Windows Explorer (probably the same for Mac) using the Epson or Canon drivers. The results are the same.

Qimage just makes it easier to deal with multiple images. It also uses the same Epson or Canon drivers.

First, check the document dimension (lower left corner in PS) to make sure it says 11x14
Next, in the PS Print Settings dialogue, I suspect the 11 x 14 format is a Custom Setting, so click on the Print Settings, click on Paper size, click on the 11x14 listing and then Manage Custom Settings. Make sure the size is correct.
Hope this helps

You do not mention anything about which printer you are using and what size etc it is set to. Your problem may be caused by the printer settings, including size you have set. FWIW.

I print both using Lightroom and Photoshop. They frequently default to a prior size setting instead of to the paper size setting for the image that I want to print based on paper size that I set. I, therefore, find that right before printing I go into the print settings to make sure that it is set for the proper size paper. I'm guessing that this is some sort of bug.

The printer driver may be the culprit. Did you define a custom paper size for your printer? If Epson, then must...
