#4 is my pick, but #5 is pretty interesting and unusual. Except I am trying to figure out why the first chandelier light looks like it is hanging at a steep angle. Were you situated high in a cherry picker boom pod when you snapped this one ???

Thanks for all the responses so far! It’s always helpful to get outside feedback. Sometimes I get so close to my work (any kind) that I can’t decide if it’s good OR bad!

Looks like 4 and 5 are the clear favorites. I can submit through Monday, so I’ll let the question sit for a bit longer.

#5 for the reasons Bob notes. Also, I find it very intriguing how many different crops make wonderful images as well. Collage allowed in contest?

Thanks Herbie and adamborz for your thoughts about improvements for #5. It’s a side street in the old town of Innsbruck, so I’m sure the buildings have settled in all sorts of crazy ways...on top of me trying to get a shot of the chandeliers and reflection without too many people on the street. I’ll keep your suggestions in mind when I improve my post processing skills!

#4 draws me in and makes me want to walk the path. #5 is nice, but 4 tells a story.

It’s single images. Though there is a category for Creative, intended for heavy departures from the original image. Post processing effects, layers, etc. A collage/multimedia effect is an interesting idea to play with in the future.

LOL! No, I was at boring old street level. But this is a street in the old town of Innsbruck. So, very old and probably some wonky things going on to make the decorations appear somewhat uniform. Also, the street itself wasn’t level - I was standing slightly uphill and it fell away/lowered gradually toward the back of the image.
