You should do it more often! I would suggest (assuming you have an editing program that does layers) adding a gradient filter to the sky and turning down the contrast to soften.

My reaction is similar to rgrenader. The sky might be too overpowering. Its a cool sky and great rocks but they compete.

I like it and love the B&W.
Only thing I would try, and this is strictly my liking, is that the bottom gets a little "lost" or "jumbled" to me. I would crop some of the bottom and a little of the sky so its gives a little more "panoramic" type look.
But nicely composed and processed.

I think the sky and rocks compliment each other to create the whole image. I do agree that dropping the contrast in the sky 'might' make it even better, but would have t see it to decide.
