Great series. You may want to consider not shooting at F1.8 and shoot at F8 to give you more depth of field and boost up your ISO

Thanks. I have been thinking about that recently. It was my first try, hopefully I get another chance soon.

Thanks, I think some are great with the bokeh but some may be better without it.

One suggestion. Practice with your own vehicle. A very handy model.

I love what you did here. The combination of shallow depth of field and selective focus created a very artistic effect. Keep it up.

I agree with Pixelstan, plus use a tripod, and you won't have to up the iso.

A part of the decision for a shallow depth of field was that there were a lot of people there. I prefer not to have a lot of people in photos like this so the situation tended towards shallow depth of field. Just a style (preference) difference.
