You have some very nice images in the individual sections. Regarding your home page, I have two suggestions. One, in the B & W center box, change the image to one with more content. It looks to bare between the other two boxes. You have many B &W images that would balance the box much better.
Second, the background tree that 'grows up' into the three boxes is confusing and messy. Perhaps more of a panoramic image below the three key boxes would work better.
Keep at it, you do have some very nice images.
