I think Linda did a great job. It gave me inspiration to give it a try here.

Photoshop CC & Nik Software
I wanted to give the flow more breathing room while still keeping the background textures.
I made two layers, the first I used content aware to remove the flower.
The second I masked the flower, then extended the stem.
Flipped the flower and reduced the size then moved to lower right.
Used Nik software (Silver Efex Pro 2 to convert to B&W)
Made a final curves layer to brighten image

Thank you! I really am a complete novice at PP and am able to do only the bare basics - crop, straighten, flip/rotate.

Thank you for allowing us to work on your image. I enjoyed it very much. I included a screenshot of my Photoshop screen to show how the layers and textures were applied.

I really like these versions, thanks for taking time to apply your skill.

I am very interested in the riddle posed, Lynn. Thanks so much for the topic!

These are gorgeous. Thank you for your input, I know it takes a lot of time.

So, I was serious about wanting to see creative input and I am amazed at the result.

When I first finished the image I shared it with an artist friend. She is meticulous in her doll making and sculpture detail. She immediately responded asking if I placed the water drop as the duck eye. My answer was no, as I thought, what duck! I did not see the duck for the flower. So I was curious as to whether other photographers would look at the flower and not see the duck. So I put the flower out there just to do something with it and see who saw the duck. I thought it worth sharing because for a totally natural design with a little sheath falling away to produce a lighter bill and the lucky landing of a drop of water it is a fair rendition of a duck. So there is the rest of the story. Thanks for being here.

You perhaps are the only one of us that saw the duck. I missed it myself and that is part of the reason I posted the image. Thanks for looking. You can truly see.

WOW! I looked and looked and looked and didn’t see the duck. So.... I walked away for a bit, had a glass of wine, returned and the DIF jumped out at me!

In case I missed someone, I was blown away by the really talented effort in images you produced and I will take the lesson from your results. My vision is opened quite a bit. If you foresee a use for my image you are welcome to keep and use a copy in any form you choose. I know it takes time to contribute and I am grateful, Thank you.

It was funny in that once I saw the duck it jumps out at me anytime I open that daffodil file.
