I guess there are two ways to look at it...
Those who have a significant investment in Canon lenses can consider adding a Nikon body to the mix.

To me it looks like a good pathway for those who mistakenly bought Canon to migrate to Nikon without having to sell or throw out all of their glass. Poke. Poke.
My experience has been...canon, nikon, olympus - nikon gave me best shots....best auto-focus, best pictures overall....trust me.

Then why do all these pros whose lives depend on great shots use Canon at football games, basketball games, baseball games and most other sporting events. Also on observation most all I see are red ring Canon lenses on Canon bodies at press events in the House, Senate, White House and all other places?
Do these pros in highly competitive fields of photography where there are NO second chances choose second rate equipment? I would believe they choose the best possible and that is why they dropped Nikon for Canon across the board decades ago and never went back in any meaningful way.

Just got done reading a review of EF to NZ adapter. Yep, mirrorless technology is showing the future is here and it sure looks bright. This time, mounting Canon EF and EF-S lenses onto Nikon mirrorless bodies. Want a 14mm f/2.8 wide angle? Want a 100-400 IS-enabled zoom? Want AF-enabled f/1.2 primes? Want an Arca-Swiss mount on the adapter to mount directly to the tripod / monopod? No screws. No guesswork against the alphabet soup of AF versions and gelding, whatever that means to lenses or defenseless animals ...
Looks like Fringer and their EF-NZ adapter is doing it today. Just ignore that bit of $349 sticker shock...
It's never been more true: The grass is always greener when captured with a Canon lens on a mirrorless camera.

The topic should be Another nail in Canons coffin.
The fact that they are providing a solution for moving from canon to Nikon Z indicates they see the Nikon platform as the one to move too.
It is safety to protect canon users from the demise of Canon
I expressed my experience. Nikon D500 changed my experience compared to Canon 7D, Olympus EM1. ii.

WOW....stunning and here we go again .....BOOM !......you're a brave man.....I wish you well. hahaha
What shall we label these new Hybrids if that is even the right question.....I worry about Nikon now even though I no longer have one. I still like & respect them and wish no harm to befall them.
I hate it when anything goes extinct .

...it's just money. It's an aftermarket device, right? They *are* speculating that there will be demand...so there is that.
My Nikon lenses are pretty good, no need for Canon.
I see little difference in the quality of the camera bodies. But neither Nikon nor Canon nor Sony can match the sharpness and color reproduction from a Sigma Art Lens.
