Oldie but goodie. However, it needs more updating. The Chiefs organization just tonight (Sunday) that they have ticket packages starting @ $4,300.00. I doubt that these are at the 50 yard line. Aren't I a poop in the pants? LOl.
Go Chiefs!!!

The last super bowl I went to, I did not have to pay a penny, and that's pretty much the way I like it, I wouldn't pay money for it!
I guess I’ve got way too much time on my hands but wasn’t this same joke posted like: Yesterday?
Hey, does Trail still have a hockey team called the "Smoke Eaters"?

Yeah, it was. And last year and the year before, etc., etc.
But it's new to some people.

I get seats at the 50 and in both end zones and a few other spots in between. I transport between them even faster than Kirk and Spock beaming from place to place. It doesn't cost me anything.

Yes they do, but it is now a Junior A team, not a senior.
How do you know about the Senior team?

Yeah...and Super Bowl I (or whatever they called it back then), the average ticket price was $12.00 and that stadium was only about 60% full. My, how times have changed!
Swede: I grew up in Canada, was in Grade Six (in Montreal) when the Smoke Eaters won a championship...1955 or '56 I think.

Price sure has gone up as I went to the first in LA 1967 and we walked in and had box seats on the 50 yard line and paid $6.00 a ticket to get in. I'll watch it on TV.

Here's a link of their history in the Savage Cup, best Senior team in BC, 18 total Championships dating back to 1926/ 27. They did win the cup again in 51-52, then again in 60- 61 so that might be what you remember.

Lots of hockey history around here, and we are rather proud of it, we have a pretty good Junior A team this year.
