Amazing images. And even more amazing when you consider the technology involved.
Atlas Obscura is one of my favorite websites.

Those are fascinating BIF images, and I wish I had the technical skill and patience it would take to do those!
I'll submit, for everyones amusement, a poor imitation I took in 2018 at Reelfoot Lake, TN. I thought it was hot stuff at the time; actually just a one second time exposure of insects, and maybe a bat or two.

Those are amazing, thanks for posting. I teach photography in a public school and I'm always interested in showing my students images that push the limits.

I like it - that's a lot of activity in one second!

That's very cool, do you have any other stats, ie. aperture, ISO, white balance? I'm assuming the light was a bug light by the color

Thanks, hipines, glad you liked it!
I'm sure that anyone still awake thought I was nuts; standing out in the middle of the parking lot with a camera on a tripod shooting a bunch of bugs. lol!
BTW, Reelfoot Lake is highly recommended as a photo excursion destination, but you either need to have a boat, or charter one, to get the most out of the experience.
