R.I.P. Camera Cottage

Good luck to you on your next venture. stuff happens!
I presume that your “mobile” toys are somewhat larger than what you would hang over a baby’s crib or an I-phone.
Will miss losing a great place for advice and guidance--I purchased a nest gimbal head from you a few years back and have been meaning to talk with you for recommendations on a good tripod and hope maybe that you may have a good one left and will try to contact you. Happy retirement! Corky

I know. Started to get a bit morbid there. BTW, what are your plans now anyway?

WOW, Moving on, new challenges
Thanks MT for your help and wisdom and have a great retirement.
I’ve often asked for and received advice from you. Bought a few things from you and because of you. Happy retirement!! Looking forward to seeing your posts from new adventures.
The new building is up, concrete goes in next week if the weather holds.

The Cottage will be missed.
Best in your future.
Travel or something, take lots of pictures and post a bunch.
Oh, has anyone stepped up to take over Nest gear? One day I may want another gimbel head or good tripod without having to rob a bank before I order them.

I have heard nothing yet, but the prognosis may not be good. The Weifeng factory is right in the Chinese containment zone and everything there is literally shut down for 2 months now, no word on how many more months before manufacturing begins again.

I understand.
The media have made this such a freak out that when I went to Sam's Club today there were departments that looked like they had been looted by Attila. No bottled water, no paper goods, meat dept was down to a few high end steaks, frozen chickens and shrimp but mostly empty cases. The dairy room had 4 partial cases of coffee creamer and the only bread was coming out of their bakery and being grabbed while the guy was putting it out. But you could have all the booze you wanted or appliances, computers and phones.
It is a good thing I just did our main stock up shopping for the month two weeks ago. But the stock supervisor said they have trucks coming Sat, Sun and Monday so he figures he will have the place filled again by Tuesday. And he anticipates business to be way down except for perishables in a few days because so many people over bought. Two teenage girls had two 50 pound bags of dog food and they said they had one medium size dog.
