Looks like it would make a Good Shoulderable mount for a DSLR or Camcorder ? Without too much Trouble ? Can buy them off of Wish .com . It's a Knock off of a Mako/ Fab Defense. From what I can tell ? Not quite Identical but close ! Inexpensive Enough where it could be worth it if it Worked ? Will attach picture of it if I can ?
And thanks everyone and Happy New years !!!!
Nice idea............best to spray it bright pink in case security forces mistake you for a bad guy ??

Unfortunately, it would be the silhouette of the stance that would cause the mistake,
Maybe sell it as a close-up selfie stick?

Still probably more expensive than a regular shoulder mount for a camera!
Stop by your local police station and show it to them ... they will get calls ... they will visit you.

I think I would give this more thought. It is a good idea but it definitely would not go over with people involved with security. Locally we had a little boy that was expelled from the second grade for using his hand like an imaginary gun and making shooting noises. You know like all of us did on the playground when we were kids.
There is also the news article about the guy wearing one of those big rodeo cowboy belt buckles that looked like a six shooter and was not allowed to fly with because it may scare other passengers.
I can just imagine what they would say with a rifle stock sticking out of your carry on bag.

Looks like a shoulder brace I got back in the late 60s to help steady my Spiratone 400mm.

Used to use a rifle stock mount years ago. WOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO IT NOW, except in the woods during hunting season.

This could get you shot, but not with another's camera!
I have used an old collapsible Rowi shoulder stock for years, and no one has ever questioned it. Took it to an air show recently, used it all day, and no one gave it a sacond thought. I think the stock’s silhouette with the camera and big lens is so different from a firearm that people don’t get confused over it. Just my opnion based on use.
What I do like about the glock stock (looking at it - don’t have one in front of me) are that it appears to be lightweight and maybe decently strong? And it’s adjustable. The two things I like best about the Rowi are adjustability and light weight without flimsiness. I find being able to adjust the length from eyecup to shoulder is big in getting max stability. Also I push the stock into my shoulder to increase stability, and a flimsy stock won’t let you do that. I think you should give it a try. The glock stock might have better potential than most camera stocks I’ve seen.
