B&H mis-packaged a lens resulting in me receiving the wrong used lens. I called immediately expecting resistance, but could not have been more wrong. Upon hearing my explanation, I received an immediate apology, a return label within minutes via email and a promise that the correct lens would be sent as soon as they received the lens sent in error. Today I received the lens I ordered and could not be happier. Mistakes happen and I accept that. It is how the business responds to these type situations that speaks to their business culture. B&H made a stellar recovery.

Although most of my experiences with B&H have been positive, my last transaction with B&H wasn't a pleasant one...

A new Panasonic camcorder came out today at CES. My current mission is to scrape up the cash and ship it to B&H! Why them? Because I know from experience how they take care of me.

A couple cameras ago I had one with an intermittent anomaly that I couldn't pinpoint. A B&H rep got me on the phone and DIRECTED me to exchange it NOW! I offered to keep it until I could pinpoint the issue. "Not your job" he said.

My issue was an item ordered on the 2nd but not received till the 12th when it was supposed to be 2 day guaranteed shipping. Granted it was on back order till the 4th but that’s still 8 days.

No wonder they call you "screamin" scott. Do you have any idea what happens to the shipping companies during the holiday rush with a little weather thrown in? Get real!

The shipper wasn’t given the package until the 8th and didn’t deliver until the 12th. So much for two day delivery. Oh and BTW, I was a receiving foreman at my last job and am fully aware of “holiday rush” and there was no weather to deal with. The shipper even said it was “out for delivery “ the day before when it wasn’t delivered. The shipper is a different issue though. Their holding it from the 4th thru the 8th was my issue.

"holding it from the 4th thru the 8th was my issue." Of course I have no idea why, but 4 days is pretty darn bad. Terrible even! Probably better to shop at a local store. Oh, wait! There aren't any where I live.

I had an issue with B&H that was resolved quickly. I ordered some items that were doubled ordered. When I looked at the email invoice, the amount was twice what it was suppose to be. The order was via phone. Those items were to ship that day. I needed to change that order before it was shipped. Otherwise, I would have had to send them back, to get my credit card credit. B&H was able to get to the order before it was shipped, gave me an apology, and a credit of $130 on my credit card. I received the corrected items in 3 days. Before on free expedited shipping. It took 5 days. Even their free expedited shipping is now faster. Not as fast as Amazon Prime. But fast enough. I've been a customer of B&H since 2009. Their customer service, is why I will still, continue to buy from them.
