Question for You-Tube TV Subscribers

I have been quite happy with You-Tube Tv and my high-speed internet connection. Even fast-paced college basketball games stream mostly without issue.

However, the Vikings/Saints game was having connection issues and stoppages earlier, so I switched to my OTA antenna. Fortunately, I can get Fox, NBC, ABC and CBS very clearly.

Anyone else having any problems watching NFL playoffs or other popular programs on You-Tube TV?

Thanks for your time.

No problems here. I’m using my digital antenna I have connected to my TV. Did away with cable. Got to be ridiculously expensive. Antenna and Fire Stick these days.

Thanks. You-Tube TV has all the sports channels I want except Pac-12 and many of those games are on other networks.

I had no problem with the OTA Fox game, but NBC isn't coming in so well. There are a few streaming issues for this game also, so my choices aren't great at the moment (but I have no plans to return to cable either)

I have Spectrum. Used to be called Charter Communications. I pay $70/month + wi fi is an additional $5.00. You-Tube TV subscription is another $50 + tax.

Right now (4:30 a.m. west coast time) a modem speed test shows 106 mbps with my wi fi. But it was quite slow the Saturday and Sunday afternoons after Christmas.

The problem is usually not your ISP. The servers at the source can get overloaded when too many users are connected. We have 300 mps service and still sometimes have issues during high traffic times. By the way, it was a good game. Being a Packers fan, I hated seeing the Vikings win except that it could give the Pack an opportunity to beat them for the third time this year.

Thanks very much, Bill. Looks like we will not be rooting for the same team next round (I have been living in WA State since 2002)

I am very happy with my YouTube TV. I do occasionally get some buffering on Saturdays and I have Spectrum Internet 100 mbs. Like someone said above ...it is not the Internet but the streaming source that can get overloaded.

Thanks! At first the guide for upcoming shows (under the Live tab) was only displaying an hour or two on my computer and maybe 12 hours on the tv (can't remember exactly). But recently I noticed an improvement and I can scroll at least 24 hours.

Also, it was fun to realize I could do a one-click to record all NCAAM basketball games since there's no DVR storage limit

We have Spectrum and we bought a modem and wifi to avoid the extra fees. We recently dumped their cable and Netflix after purchasing a Roku and there is lots of free content available including sports channels and we are happy.

I've been watching some college games and haven't had any problems. When I had AT&T 100mb/s service I sometimes had some interruptions, but I changed back to Spectrum 200mb/s internet recently and it's been great. As you know, I use YouTubeTV also now. So far I really like it. I also have Netflix and Amazon Prime so I've got plenty to watch.

This time of year I mostly watch just college basketball. Happily, You-Tube Tv has almost 100% of the channels I need Glad you are happy having switched also!
