I saw an old post from Magaliaman about the RT90C tripod he just purchased from Innorel through Amazon. He seemed to like it and I was wondering if any other Hogs have had experience with this companies products.

I'm looking for information on the AS80C Artcise tripod which is an upgrade of the RT80C Innorel. It looks like it would fit my needs to a tee but I can't find any information outside of Amazon. I would love more input before I pull the trigger.

Thanks

Be Brave, Buy it from Amazon and if you don't like it, Return it !
It looks fine for the money. I'm not crazy about the somewhat odd 65mm Bowl, but unless you plan on purchasing other accessories that most likely fit a more standard 75mm Bowl, it shouldn't be a problem. I'm still in Awe of my RT90C Its a beast and performs flawlessly.

I'm actually waiting for Innorel to get their Carbon Fiber Monopod on Amazon. I Have an interest in that. I Emailed them and they say its coming soon, along with some other new products. Looks like this is one of the new products they spoke of. I hope the monopod shows up soon.

I Wonder what the deal is with "Artcise"? I noticed a ball head on Amazon that was once branded Innorel, is now branded Artcise. The AS80C tripod does not say Innorel anywhere on it either. Hmmmmm New name ? New Owners? I just find it odd.

It does look good in the ad. But, it only extends to about 60 inches, so, not tall enough for this 6 foot 4 inch photographer. But other wise it looks interesting. But I know nothing about the company and more importantly I do not know any thing about their customer service. The 50 folks who have rated it seem satisfied, you should read all of the reviews and the questions and answers before going any further.

Ordered a Neewer 2-in-1 Aluminum Alloy Camera Tripod Monopod 70.8inches/180cm with 1/4 and 3/8 inch Screws Fluid Drag Pan Head and Carry Bag for Nikon Canon DSLR Cameras Video Camcorders Load up to 26.5 - it was around $60 pre-Christmas. So far I like it very much, stout and just what I needed for occasional use. I would recommend it for the average user.....long term, we shall see, but I do have tripods that are many years old, not as stout, that still work just fine, some with too much plastic.....if you beat your gear, well, someone else would have to test that.

The first one (another brand) purchased from Amazon, was not quite as advertised (more plastic than the description indicated) FREE Return, sent it back - no cost to try.

In response to Gary's question on the Innorel AS 80C Tripod, it is specified on Amazon as an "Upgraded model" of the "RT 80C".. I am interested in buying the AS80c which is on back order at Amazon, but I have question that I have not seen an answer to. I would be using this tripod for my Nikon D500/Tamron 150-600mm G2.. On the top of this tripod, I see the base mount for a head for virtually ANY tripod head...there is a standard mounting screw sticking up through this mounting point with nothing more than a rubber gasket to keep a mounted head from spinning off the tripod mounting point. I seriously do not think that this arrangement will NOT keep a somewhat heavy camera and lens combo from spinning "OFF" of that stud. I've owned tripods in the past that have had "stop-screws" in addition to the center mounting screw..I might add that my common carry position for a tripod/camera and large lens is over my right shoulder..Am I missing seeing any small set crews that will keep a tripod head, like a gimbal that I use, from head spinning spinning off-of the top of this tripod mount without resorting to"Loctite"?..I have not found a way to access Innorel directly on line or via telephone to get an answer to my question! Otherwise the specs on this model at this price-point are enticing me to "buy"..

Looking at the pictures for the AS80C, I do NOT see a locking screw on the 65mm 1/2 Ball Leveling base. My 75MM ones have it, but it doesn't seem to be on the 65mm from what I can tell on the pics.

Bill,

When I initially purchased the tripod I was missing a few items not in the box. I Emailed Innorel at 3385426192@qq.com and they were very prompt at resolving the issue. I have no complaints. Although their English language skills aren't the greatest, its no different than communicating with AT&T, or Dell.

As far as the height of the tripod, I purchased a Leofoto Center Column that works just perfect. The RT90C is compatible with Most Gitzo Systematic 5 Legs which I like.

There isn't a locking screw. The base is secured by tightening the handle

All the best,
Steve

The Handle only tightens the 1/2 ball from swiveling. Nothing seems to lock the Head you install to the 1/2 ball. That's the trouble.
