No cheating by looking online. What replaces the blank?
Office:
It is the floor plan a small 5 room one story hotel.
And the short line to the right is the door to the sidewalk.
Why, YES, at times I can be very weird.
At least I didn't say it was the floor plan of a 5 cell jail with the guard post and entrance at the unlabeled line ends.

There are 2 blanks
Down is 6 and right is R
The horizontal line would have stopped at 5 otherwise
I think you better look at it again. There is only one blank.

My wife, whilst driving suggested we try something in the car we'd not tried for many years, giving me a suggestive wink. "OK I said" try putting it into top gear"

I still drive a Tacoma 4WD with that shift pattern
ahhhh yes,...the ol' millennial anti theft device,....shhhhhh don't give it away.
Adding the verticals gives 3, 7. The difference is 4, so 7 + 4 is 11. 5 + x = 11 so x = 6. Summing the horizontals gives 1 + 3 + 5 = 9. Then 2 + 4 + x = 9 ? So x = 3 which makes no sense.
