Nikon f2, 105, 55mm micronikor, 35mm f?, and novoflex 400mm with trigger focus. I don’t think I ever got a sharp image with that 400mm.

Mine was a Minolta 101 with a 50mm f/1.4 (wow!), 28mm f/2.8 and 135mm f/28 both Vivatar. Yes I would like to forget the 400mm f/6.3 Spiratone. A lot of hard work to get a so-so picture. Don't want to forget the 2x extender. A Honeywell flash. B&W and closeup filters. A bag to keep it all in. What did you have? - Dave

Mine was a canon FTB QL with canon 35mm f 3.5 lense; used mostly for art photography when I was a student.

Canon F-1 with 50mm 1.2.. in 75 I was a staff photographer for Volleyball Magazine. All matches were inside with no strobes so speed was incredibly important. Shot tri-x 400 pushed to 1600. Used a magazine for the film with 100 feet (not sure on this) in the magazine so I could keep shooting as fast as the F-1 worked. I had a motor drive but I don’t remember which one but 9 frames per second sticks in my mind. High-speed motor drive? I remember there were multiple versions of the Motor Drive.

white shorts and a red Liverpool top …. our school kit was quite open to interpretation as long as it was the right colour.....

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that so many of us HAD kits in 1975...

In 1975 I was 18, registered for the vote, registered for the draft.

My “kit” was a Yashica D TLR, a Hanimex Practica Super-TL, a 50mm f1.8 Jena-Oristan lens, Vivitar 135mm f/? lens and a K-Mart shoe mount flash. Along with an 8mm Bell & Howell movie camera.

My best friend and I were the high school photographers, where we also had use of a Rollei SL 35 with a Pentax mount adapter, a Bolex 16mm with an actual zoom lens on the turret, and a 4x5 Speed Graphic. The film I used for most everything was Kodak Tri-X. And mostly Kodak Ektachrome when I wanted color. Being poor, I also used a great assortment of store brand films.

We had free use of the HS darkroom. And we both had home darkrooms. His was built in a previously unfinished bathroom in the basement. Mine was a section that I walled off in the garage. I raised the floor, so I wouldn’t have to stand on concrete, and put in a ceiling. I’d work out there for hours, while listening to cassette tapes.
