Someone asked this end-of-year question last year. I guess I get to ask for 2019. Filtering by 2019 as the shooting date, I get "20 lenses" in my LR catalog spread over 1587 images and three cameras, but that count is skewed by the use of extenders. The EF 300 f/2.8L IS II comes in as my #1 when the two extended configurations are merged along with the lens alone, totaling 408. That's 'keepers' in the catalog. The usage number is probably 3x to 4x that number in bursts at airshows.
I was surprised to see the EF 16-35 f/4L IS was the second most used in file count at 256.
I looked at the filters several times as just 1587 images for the calendar year seems surprisingly low. I know I shot less, but that's less than half the 2018 count for the same LR filters that returns 3675.
If you filter and count your images, what surprises did you find? Do you use your own usage data to plan to sell unused lenses / cameras? Or maybe, to change the lenses you'll use more in 2020?

Sigma 18-300mm Contemporary
an old 18-70 Nikon kit lens. I have over 20 lenses and some of them (lens baby, 100mm Spirtone portagon, 11-19mm Tamaron,etc.etc.) I use only once or twice a year but when I do none of my other lenses would do what I want. - Dave

My 24-105mm L is my most favorite lens and stays on the camera full time. I will opt for the 14mm and the 100-400l II on occasion but I have no yet used my 1.4 teleconverter even though I meant to....haha.
I have no idea how many photos I have taken this year....just too busy with family stuff currently and not much time for the hobby.
I've used the 12-100 f/4 & Olympus EM-1 Mk2 about 95% of the time.

Since buying a near mint Nikon D700 (<4k clicks) I have been using the nikon 28-105mm almost exclusively. It's my first FF camera. Phil
Depends on time of year. Probably overall, my 35-70 and 80-200 F2.8s. For macro work and my other hobby, numismatics, an old MF 200mm F4 with extension tubes works great on my D7000. Always carry my 12-24 F4 and just got a 300mm F4 that I am anxious to use more. I tend to prefer older equipment that I can buy used and have been pretty lucky with my purchases so far.
My Tamron 150-600mm G2 for wildlife coupled with My Nikon D500!! (3 years running now!!)
Nikon 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR, Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 ED VR, Nikon 500mm f/5.6 PF ED VR
Tamron 24-70 f2.8 G2, then the Nikon 500mm f5.6 PF.
28 . 135 Canon on a T3i. Actually a 3rd most used camera behind my Canon's G16 and XS50.

I use my Nikkor 24-120 on my D800e the most.
Interesting question posted. I was surprised at how it stacked up in my own shooting. First by a surprising long shot was the 100-400 II ( probably because of all the BIF shooting ) followed by the 24-70 f:2.8, then the 24-105 II and last the 17-40. The 17-40 usually finds more use when we go to the Southwest in winter, lots of great scenery. To all a very Happy New Year and keep on shooting.

My top three lens were the Nikon24-120, Tamron SP 24-70 and Olymplus M12-40 F2.8. I do alot of travelling for work so I travel realitively ligt. D750 with one lens or OMD EM5 with two lenses.
