I guess my question to you is already answered as to how you like that 135 F2. Since most of my shooting is around the property shooting my active dogs with long portraits I am REALLY interested in this becoming my next " Isolation " lens. Tell me to just DO IT !!!
The latest versions in order of frequency of usage: 70-200mm f2/8 L, 400mm f2.8 L, then way down in the numbers a 100mm f/2.8 Macro and a ten year old 17-55 f2/8 EF-S. All other lenses were sold/traded off last summer. Very seldom have used either extender, thinking about selling them too.
The Canon 17-55 2.8 is sharp and versatile lens.

Someone asked this end-of-year question last year. I guess I get to ask for 2019. Filtering by 2019 as the shooting date, I get "20 lenses" in my LR catalog spread over 1587 images and three cameras, but that count is skewed by the use of extenders. The EF 300 f/2.8L IS II comes in as my #1 when the two extended configurations are merged along with the lens alone, totaling 408. That's 'keepers' in the catalog. The usage number is probably 3x to 4x that number in bursts at airshows.
I was surprised to see the EF 16-35 f/4L IS was the second most used in file count at 256.
I looked at the filters several times as just 1587 images for the calendar year seems surprisingly low. I know I shot less, but that's less than half the 2018 count for the same LR filters that returns 3675.
If you filter and count your images, what surprises did you find? Do you use your own usage data to plan to sell unused lenses / cameras? Or maybe, to change the lenses you'll use more in 2020?

For non-macro, non-copy work, it’s 78% 24-70 equivalent FOV from my 12-35mm f/2.8. Add 17% 70-200 equivalent FOV from my 35-100mm f/2.8. The rest is general photography with my 60mm equivalent FOV 30mm f/2.8 macro.
All my copying of slides, negatives, artwork, and some large photo prints is done with the 30mm macro. Most of my closeup photos of 3D subjects are also done with the 30mm.
Why? These are the right lenses for what I photograph and film with my Lumix GH4.
If I were a birder or sports photographer, I’d have a completely different kit — bodies and lenses.

Without a doubt my most used lens in 2019 was my Nikkor f/2.8 24-70mm. In fact, I often didn't even take any of my other lenses with me when traveling because I found that I could get by without them in most circumstances.
Mine are easy: Nikon 24-70, and 70-200, with the shorter zoom used the most. With a D750 and now a D850.

Sigma 150-600 Contemporary was my #1 used lens attached to my APSC camera, followed closely by a Tamron SP 15-30 f/2.8 on my full frame camera.
Nikon 24-70 f2.8 for most everything (90%), with Nikon 70-200 f2.8 when needed.
My Tamron 18-400 on my Nikon D7200.
