Congratulations to Blue. Many dogs I know have no skill beyond yap and poop. You must have invested many hours of training in Blue. Congratulations to the both of you.

We had a fun agility lesson today with the dogs and handlers doing fun things like doing a course with an egg on a spoon and guiding your dog. We had to go over a jump through a small tunnel, through the tyre and then weave through the poles, at the end we had to call our dogs to us plus a few other things. A dish was placed on the ground with a sausage in it and we had to call our dogs past it with out them eating the sausage. Pleased to say Blue won that one... It was a great 1 1/2 hours of fun... Here is Blue with his 2 medals, rosette and treats.. Have a good Christmas every one..

Thank you very much Norm, we go to lessons once a week but I made some jumps and have weaving poles and a small tunnel which we practice with at home. My garden is not very big and we do it in the front garden. I do a lot of other training with him as I have done obedience with former dogs and was a judge. That helps a lot with agility and as I am now disabled with a bad back and hips due to an accident at work I cant run a round with him so he works away from me and I do not have to run just walk. Trudy the trainer has won at Crufts in a team and she helps me with the best way to go and I try to work it out myself..He is getting better each week and my trainer says he is doing brilliant to say I can't run to each jump or tunnel as the others in the class do ( and they are younger) and plus he is very fast. At the end of the day as long as Blue enjoys doing it I am happy even if we do not get into big competitions..
