Hey folks -
This is a bit of an unusual request but I am looking for a good condition but dirt cheap wide/ ultra-wide lens to get me through a spell. My target is 35mm or shorter (my shortest currently is a 50). If anyone has an unused kit lens that fits the bill or a third party lens (e.g. 14mm Rokinon or an old Tamron 24mm), I'm interested.
Thanks in advance all

I just purchased a Refurbished Nikon 10-20mm 4.5-5.6 Wide angle lens from Adorama for $214.95, I considered that to be a good deal. I am interested in pursuing Landscape Photography.
Not sure if that is in your Price range.
F.Y.I.-- I have read that it has been suggested you should purchase the Lens Brand that matches your Camera Brand. I personally have followed that suggested advice, I Have 4 Nikon Lens for my Nikon Camera.
Each person must decide for themselves, due to their individual circumstances.

That lens is an AF-P 10-20mm DX formatted lens.

If you are considering manual focus Rokinon then why not look at Nikon manual focus film lenses? Lots of them out there cheap. And they are always great quality glass.

Some people just feel compulsed to comment without paying attention to the question. They have always been here. And always will be here.
For around $100 you can find a genuine Nikon manual lens of 35mm or shorter in good shape. Don’t know what body you have though.

All of the FX bodies will mount and meter the older MF lenses. It's only the base model DX bodies that won't meter with them. I have a number of older MF Nikkors from 20-to 35mm in FL and they all work with both my FX & DX bodies...
One person's 'dirt cheap' is another person's thousand acres, relatively speaking. There are plenty of (used) manual focus 24mm -- 28mm -35mm AI (or above) Nikkors around for <$100 (and often, far less), and if they're in clean condition, any of them will work great on whatever FF Nikon you have. AF versions will go for a little more, but not a lot, and they too are readily available. Browse any of the better outlets: KEH, MPB, B&H, etc.
While hardly an ultrawide, a standard (manual) f/2.8 28mm Nikkor is one of the sharpest, contrastiest lenses you'll find. I consider my AFD 20mm Nikkor my 'standard' lens.

Not sure what you consider dirt cheap, or are willing to pay. If you want a decent ultra-wide, consider the Rokinon 14mm. KEH has two listed on their website. I own one, but I am not selling it.

I have the Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 lens for my Nikons and it does a great job. I use it for night photography. I recommend it.
