Shifting through my older stuff. Playa De Las Americas Tenerife taking a quiet walk on the beach can offer snap shots .taken about one hour after buying my nikon D200 from the shop in town ... Sun on the vines late may driving past had to pull up and take the shot lining up the vines was a problem as the light fading fast .
UFO next door neighbors children great fun had setting this up .... caused a super reaction in the village
Horse with no name I can not name this breed any one know ..;;
last shot on my then one hour old D200 after 20 mins reading the book of destructions
my very early foray into digital after a lay off of 8 years from a nikon f801 Slr film camera

the horse looks like a Belgian draft horse, but not the typical color. They are typically bay, chestnut, sorrel or roan. Did it look heavy for it's size?

Hi ya HHhog ' it was very thick set and stockey med sized only manged to four shots before they went off JAK

The horse is a Fjord Horse. They are a small breed of draft horse from Norway. They are used for both riding and harness. They are all pretty much the color you see or lighter. The cut mane with a black stripe down the middle of it is a dead give away.

Could be a Fjord horse ,however since the photo was taken in France and the Percheron was originated in the Huisne valley of western France, I think I'll stick to my answer
