One of the fun parts is that the Goblins are below the overlook/campground area. While it looks as if you could get lost (if you really tried) All you have to do to get back to the overlook area is to look to the North and you can see the overlook area. As long as your kids don't stray too far they can make it back without too much problem. The movie Galaxy Quest has a scene filmed outside of the park boundaries but in similar topography.
