Good for her in having him arrested. That was assault and battery. Men need to keep their hands to themselves.
A male runner in a Georgia road race slapped a you... (show quote)

Actually it was battery.

How far is too far to go? Too bad she didn't kick him in the privates. One NEVER touches another person they dont know without permission and especially not on their buns, and ESPECIALLY if they are the opposite sex from you. And she needs to be reprimanded for crowding the runners if that is what happened.

Reading comprehension is very important, try reading the story again very carefully.

Most any idiot who reads that news article would be able to comprehend that Alex Bozarjian was the Female reporter who was assaulted, not the male runner, but as usual, you're the exception to the most group.

What does your comment have to do with butt slapping. The reporter's sexual persuasion has nothing to do with the incorrectness nor dose where he slapped. If he had slapped her face that would have been criminal. Just because a butt is there does not mean it is public... as in the antique shop..." look but do not touch."

Well, perhaps, Pussy Grabbing Trump will pay his attorney fee.

Are you talking about a DOSE of medication or are you trying to say, nor DOES where he slapped. It makes one hell of a difference to the reader.

So, is this then an example of a "good man"? I consider myself to be "a good man" - and never in MY life have I felt inclined to grab a strange woman's ass. It is this attitude that this is somehow OK that allowed a serial sexual assaulter to be elected our president. This guy is clearly an a**hole but hopefully he gets a good attorney who can plead him down to simple assault so he doesn't have to register as a sex offender the rest of his life (and have no job, no place to live, etc.). I wonder if it is only old white men who support Trump who think that this kind of behavior is acceptable?

I don't think I have seen anybody on the thread say it is acceptable behavior. Why would you bring up President Trump in the negative? Why didn't you bring up President Clinton, Anthony Weiner or any of the Kennedy males? How about the Lt. Governor of Virginia, Justin Fairfax, who is accused recently of raping two black women but whom you Liberals seem to have that behavior acceptable if done by a Democrat.

Assault is verbal, battery is physical or assault is saying it and battery is doing it.

I am usually pretty quiet on this forum, but something about this story bothers me. One day in the mid - seventies in junior hight school I did something similar. The young lady involved immediately ran me down and administered a swift kick to my family jewels. I learned a lot about respect for women that day, never did that again, and it ended right there. She and I briefly dated later in high school, got together occasionally in college and remain friends to this day. I looked at the video clip of the incident, should he have done that especially while on camera? Of course not. Could she have stood three feet to the left out of the way of the runners and still got the shot and avoided the whole thing? Sure. I think what bothers me is the lack of personal responsibility today. In the pre - digital age, we didn’t get the police and courts involved, we just handled things ourselves. Should she have run him down and kicked him in the balls? I don’t know, that would have made some great news footage! https://wtvr.com/2019/12/14/runner-thomas-callaway-arrested-for-smacking-tv-reporter-alex-bozarjian-backside/

And isn’t that what I said? If he did not threaten her but just grabbed her that is battery, the unlawful use of force upon a victim.

He swatted her on the butt, most men would not do that and it was definitely a rude thing for him to do. Most women would have done little more than called him a bastard and possibly publicly embarrassed him at the finish line but thankfully I don't know any woman in my personal life who would have had him arrested and I thank god for that. My how times have changed.
