Beautiful series, Dennis; DX or FX lenses?

Thanks, Rob. All Fx lenses. The Pemaquid Point shots were done with a Nikon 16-35 f4, The breakwatrer lighthouse/sailboat shot was with a Tamron 150-600 G2 at full throttle and the rest were with a Nikon 28-300, which is a great walk around lens.

A recent camping trip to the mid-coast area of Maine also served as the maiden voyage of my new Nikon D750 and a few new lenses. The Pemaquid Point lighthouse was the highlight but I enjoyed shooting at a few other spots as well. Here is a sampling.

Great set, Dennis; very nicely done.

These are excellent, Dennis; did you go all the way out to the Rockland Breakwater Light?

Thanks, Rob. I did walk it. That's where I got the shot of the sailboat in the distance. The walk is deceptively long but easy. What I man is that you just keep going and going and going and don't seem to get any closer to the end. But eventually you get there - well worth it.

I know; my wife and I did the Camden Rockland route last year. I walked about three quarters of the way, but the fact there were a lot of people around the lighthouse dissuaded me from getting closer; I don't like people in my photos unless I am taking photos of people.
