Yes, since moonlight is really just the reflection of the sun, the white balance set to sunlight makes sense. You’ll see photos of the moon that’s more golden in color and others that look like a black & white photo. The auto white balance yields color closer to the b&w. I increased saturation slightly to bring back some of the golden light. I played with adjusting white balance in post processing but decided that I preferred the way it was with just some additional saturation. It’s your call as the artist.
