I think a video card RAM is important. I would have you look at the memory of your video card. 1TB or 2TB video card should help if all other RAM issues are ok.

Your setup is overkill. I'm on a mid-2011 iMac (High Sierra) with 20MG of ram and running off SSD. On1 Raw 2020 is running great for me without those issues. If it was memory leak it would be on every mac. I would try the link to do a clean install. Pain but it should clear that type of issue up. I have just about every PP software that runs on a Mac and On1 Raw 2020 remains the fastest and most stable for me.

I had a problem with ON1 PR 2019.5 and ultimately, it came down to my graphic card being undersized memory wise. On the recommendation of ON1 tech support, I purchased a 4 gb card and noticed an immediate improvement in performance.
I have ON1 PR2020 in the following machine:
macOS Mojave
Version 10.14.6
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
Processor: 4GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Startup Disk: 1TB SSD
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4GB
External Seagate 2TB drive for photo files
It runs great! I have not had any performance issues and it has never locked up. I run it as a stand alone app but I always have other apps like email, Safari, TextEdit and even other Photo apps like Aurora HDR 2019 and Affinity running as well. No issues. ON1 PR2020 now uses the GPU to speed up rendering. You might want to check the Activity Monitor app in the Utilities folder to help isolate the issue.
