I remember it well. I shopped there often when I earned enough money to put something on their "lay-a-way" plan. Like my first bicycle. Nice photo and good memory - thank you

There was a much smaller version 2 blocks from where I lived as a teen. In addition to auto and bike parts, they sold sporting goods (tennis balls and baseballs). I drove by the pictured building twice per day on my commute during the 11 years I lived in KC.

Now there was a store that had everything and if not they could order it. car parts to linoleum flooring.

I never have had the pleasure of wandering down aisle after aisle. Right now, my wife shutters when I tell her I'm going to B&H in New York City. I'm from Brooklyn. Any ah ya youts have a pwoblem wit dat? LOL!
