Please how dare anyone equate homosexuality with racism. Its BS..........
I was born black can't hide my blackness. I will leave the born gay argument alone.
For the sake of argument one can choose to hide the fact that they are gay.
Its not a race ok, and I find it highly insulting for those who equate being gay with racism.
I'm glad you weighed in, even if your target audience will only remember things you say if they reinforce their existing beliefs. Things that people equate to other things are rarely the same. If they were the same they wouldn't need equated. Recognizing another's rights and oppression in no way lessens your own, be they Mexican, Gay, or some other group. You would do well to recognize that. For various oppressed groups to turn on each other, rather than their mutual oppressor is counter productive. I'm mostly interested to your reaction to some saying "racism is no longer a problem". You can only speak for yourself, but you certainly have a different perspective than at least some here.
