I've considered the Nikon Z6 for some time, and was intrigued by the new Z50's. Small but very capable, so Monday I bought the Z50 with the 16-50 lens and FTZ adapter, as a way of learning the Z system, my only regret thus far is that I didn't get the 2 lens kit. These are some shots from around the house. Merry Christmas and Have A Blessed Day !!!

Nice set, unclebuck. Yes it’s fun just to take shots around the house. You also have a blessed day and a Merry Christmas.

Very nice set of pics. May be personal taste, but in my mind they are all a bit underexposed.

I think you did an excellent job with the photos. I like how you isolated the ornaments on the tree and made them stand out. The only image I would try to improve is photo #2. If the room has a white ceiling, I would try to use bounce flash there. For example, the plates and napkins that are close to the camera are well defined. The ones that are further away at the end of the table are not. Bounce flash would bring out detail more evenly all around.

Thank You, I appreciate your comment !! I'll normally shoot this kind of shot low key.
