I took this on October 30th in my 40 plus years I've never seen show on the ground before Halloween. we got somewhere between 4 -6 inches of snow. The leaves didn't
even change or fall of the trees yet.
Love the leaf on the snow!

A few of my own...
Snow at the Point
Snowy Beach at the Point
Snowy Benches at the Point
These are from a single snow event in Kansas City on February 7, of last year. It was a record year for snow in Kansas City. Usually, we only get a few inches each year or none at all. It seemed like this kind of thing was happening every other day. I told me kids to take note because they probably won't see such a thing ever again. Being from Chicago, living In Minneapolis, and Boston, this was just a walk in the park for me.

This is a beautiful photo!
We don't get much snow in Arizona
Lovely pictures. Don't forget when taken pictures of a snow covered landscape that your exposure meter is choosing an apreture and speed to produce an "average grey (18%) picture. In order for the snow to show up white, you should open the apreture or decrease the speed by at least one stop. (in bright sun light, I add 1 1/2 stops to the automatic settings)
We had to cancell Halloween for a week!
