The Back Bar at Cantor's Deli on Fairfax Ave in West Los Angeles. Cantor's is the home of the second-best Pastrami in Los Angeles. The back bar is overrun by Hipsters between midnight and 4 am.
Sony RX100M4 with flash. Processed in Lightroom to adjust exposure, exported to Photoshop processed in Topaz Adjust, and finished in Lightroom with custom B&W preset.
I'm in a bit of a rut, culinary speaking, at Cantors. It's either #1, Pastrami on Rye with Cole Slaw and Thousand Islands on the side or #2 Lox, Bagel, Cream Cheese, Capers and tomatoes. Today was #2.

just like a scene from an old B/W movie! terrific!
Nice photo. For a Pastrami sandwich I'll go to The Hat.
If the pastrami is as good as stated, Nice work.
Very nice. Pastrami for me
Looks great in b&w, and the processing is spot on - a real story telling image!
I was last in Cantor's over 50 years ago. Usually after closing down a bar and going for breakfast. I don't remember a back bar, but then my memory isn't as good as it used to be. I do remember great food.
I love the photograph. Well done.
But let's get to the real point here. As someone from NY I want to know who offers the BEST pastrami sandwich in Los Angeles for when second best just won't do.

Nice photo! If you think that bar is gritty, I could show you a few in Chicago......
