OK, Captain Obvious. In his reply to Delderby, Warzone used the word "Grist" 4 times. I think he knows.

Seems kind of surprising given today's world. However, just speaking historically, this is probably 6th or more generation old Grist Mill technology. Given that humans have been grinding grain into four for many Centuries with grinding stones powered by humans and animals. The key resource for the location of civilization development often was a running stream for, of course drinking water, and for powering such mills creating flour and lumber, too.
Bringing it to today, many Megawatts of Electricity are still delivered by such running water--to drive the really great technology we use to enjoy this site as well.
Babcock State Park and it's one of the most photographed griss mills in America. I usually see it shot from to the right and down next to the stream from where you were when you took your photo.
